Ya thats what I'm wondering...if the 71-74 Challenger tanks are the same as a 70 with ecs? :dunno:

Gas tanks about 3/4 of the page down:

http://www.classicperformance.us/files/DII_2012_challanger.pdf

According to this it looks like mine has a 72-74 tank in it? ( T86 )  It might be as when I bought my car it had a 74 seats and shoulder belts , and the bigger bearing spindles, and bigger sector shaft steering box, so maybe it had a 74 fuel tank as well? I suspect a 74 Challenger was used as a parts car when the previous owner restored my car.

That clears things up! Thanks
It would be nice to find a spectra brand part number for a 1970 tank with ECS? Anyone? :dunno: ( maybe they don't make one?)

Thanks Dave! I'm thinking the side vents would fit better and be closer to the hose/tube thingy in the trunk.
Wish you were going to Carlisle!  :pullinghair:   shipping would be a killer on such a big part?
