Remember that computer game I posted screenshots of, earlier?
« on: February 14, 2005 - 01:26:18 AM »
Well, I did it.  I broke 9s with my Coronet, got it up to 880 hp, but DAMN, it's hard to keep her straight down the track!  Got the highest quality paint job, some decals, and a bunch of other stuff.

Oh, and I bought a 70 Cuda, as well.  Right now, I only have 1 engine, so I have to swap it between the 2 cars, but, the important thing is, I got them both under 10 seconds!  I'll post a couple teaser screenshots now, and post the rest tommorow.

So what is the name of that game.... Burpin went out and bought Hot Rod Garage to Glory but it is just pure drag racing with no road racing. Tell Burpin the name so Burpin can go get it.

I too bought that darn version of the racing.  I thought it would be pretty cool, but was I wrong!!  Should've bought the cheaper street drag one instead. :gripe:

Hahahahahaha!  I haven't even considered online racing them yet.  I got them to have the maximum hp, and, I can barely control them.  The pic of the Coronet you see is the ONLY time I have finished the race with the new engine.  It's just too damn hard to control.  The Cuda is a little easier, but still, 1 out of every 3 races I get DQed for leaving my lane.

Anyway, more pics.

Not having played the game, I don't know if this is possible, but as a standard of control in racing, keep your center of gravity low! So, if you can, lower the car, you'll be surprised how much better it handles!!

No, I don't think there is a way to lower it.  I'll check, though.

Ok Ghost, your ready for tip 11 assuming you have upgraded to 3 on most of your parts, especially shocks.

Go to tweaks and slide all tweaks to the right. Control will be 95% better.  ;D

Thanks Cudahob!  I got the Coronet down to 9.26!  With the supercharger, and the nitrous system.

ok burpin got the game. but when burpin races burpin loses the holeshot everytime. we both raise up in the front but when burpin touches down burpin drops back an entire car length and the other guy drops down and keeps his speed up. any ideas what burpin is doing wrong.

What track are you racing at??

It's all about the tires, get #5 tires + traction bar 2 and gears 2.
It's just like real racing; build the car for hole shots or top end.

But the higher you go the more you will lose the hole shot, it's just the way the game is set up. You just have to catch up mid track. Can you say NOS!!

The game is unfair against the computer, in the end, playing another person on line is the reward.
:dontknow: but I've never done it because there is nobody out there playing.

Might be why they made the other game Garage to Glory.
