 :clueless:
I'm about to install the rear glass in my challenger -(permanently)
I need a few tips on the glass install.

What size are the rubber blocks for the Challenger rear glass?
Are they the same size as the front?
Where do they go- on the bottom?
Where can I get a pair?
Mine seem to have disappeared...

Just wondering.
Best,
Dan

THey aren't rubber.  There are two metal clips that screw to the bottom of the window frame to hold the glass inplace until the butyl dries.

That's what the factory used originally. But some glass places use rubber blocks as replacements for these.

Make sure to black out the perimeter surrounding areas where the glass sits prior to install.
Otherwise, color might reflect thru crevises thru any small gaps.

If you dont have the ruber block spacers,  go locally to a commercial glass and dood dealer and see if they will fix you up with some spacers they use.  Usually they will be rectangular or square but you can cut them to any shape you need.  Its the same material as the automotive spacers and my guess will be a whole lot cheaper.  If you dont have a commercial glass dealer near you,  shoot me a pm and i can drop one in the mail to you.

Thanks guys!
I read up on the install, and familiarized myself with the process.
I stopped at a local glass shop and the guy was friendly enough to sell me his primer, give me two rubber blocks, as well as taking the time to teach me how to do it myself.
I have to go back there tomorrow to pick up the window-weld sealant.

Dave,
Thanks! I remembered those were on my car when I tore my car apart, but there was nothing left of them to put back.
Rubber blocks will do fine.

What size butyl? 3/8 or 5/16?
Does it matter round vs square?
