Wow, thanks guys!...It does need updating though.

Killer, we bought our car 6 years ago when my son was 12. Thought it would be a great father/son car...take 4 years, fix it up and its his.  Well, after the first month or so working on it, my son decided he really didn't care for working on cars.  I'm soooo glad!  It's now me and my husband's project (Redline).  We've torn the whole thing down and are slowly building it back up.  We're shooting for finishing in the next couple of months and bringing it up to Carlisle where a bunch of us from this board are meeting up for the weekend.  If you can make Carlisle, you'll love it!  Can't wait to fire it up for the first time.  Our RT/SE is also a 383, but automatic.  We had the gator grain vinyl top on ours, but the original was toast.  We think we have a lead on some fabric and hopefully will have the top in April.  Here she is as she sits right now.

Thanks LB! All of us folks finishing up our cars this year should park together at Carlisle.  We'll have the biggest, stupidest grins on our faces!

Oops... that's now how she sits right now...the bumper and rear valence stuff is on now and the rear side markers are in.

We're shooting for finishing in the next couple of months and bringing it up to Carlisle where a bunch of us from this board are meeting up for the weekend.  If you can make Carlisle, you'll love it!

Wont have mine done by then, I'm just hoping to have it done by the Nats, so I can enter the Young Guns comp. I usually go to carlisle, although last year I missed it....this year I'll probably be there with my dad and his challenger. I usually attend the Chrysler Classic in columbus, Chryslers at Carlisle, The Nats, and the chrysler classic at Norwalk, so if you go to any of those, Ill probably see you there too. Ill make sure to keep an eye out for you car.....its beautiful to say the least. Also, your website is equally impressive, glad to see your documenting everything you do, I have pictures of my progress and started to make a website, but never finished it( 1% done, lol) If you dont mind me asking, do you think the SSBC brakes were worth it? and how do you think they will perform? I'm thinking about switching to Disc brakes and would like your opionion....

Killer, if you and your dad come with the Chally, you should park it by our tent.  We (C-C.com) will be getting a large tent for our "club".  It was great last year.  We'd go part shopping, then get out of the sun and sit and chat with everyone for a while, drink some strawberry smoothies.  4C brought a grill and some dogs....good eats!  I'm guessing we'll have about 20 members there this year...we'll get a better count as we get closer.

About the brakes.  SSBCs reputation is pretty good, although I haven't been able to test them yet.  However, they look REALLY good and were very easy to install.  Willwood also has a great reputation and might be a little cheaper.  I believe a few folks on the board are putting those on.

I think one of the biggest advantages of Wilwood's vs. SSBC is that Wilwood's dustcap is actually a screw on friction hold cap... no more dust caps that you have to beat on with a hammer!!

The summer of 1979 in a small movie theather in Northridge California...I was 13 years old watching the film Phantasm.  When the evil black 71 cuda appeared on screen....That was it!!!! :fire:  Even at such a young age....that Mopar really stuck with me until this day.  No other car looks as wicked and evil IMO.....then a TX9 71 cuda

Why E-bodies? For me, all it took was one look at this ad back in the early 80's (my older brother had some old car mags, bless his heart  ;D).
