Had to get home.  Passed the Carlisle Exit on the Turnpike and as every year, was tempted to visit for a few more hours...  But we couldn't.

There will be next year though!

No pics from dinner. The turnout Saturday was much better than Friday.  Apparently 105* heat doesn't stop Mopar fans.   :2thumbs:

I was there in the vendors section Until about 2 today.  I think everyone else that was there was in line to see Richard Petty.  Most of the vendors left early, a lot of them didn't even open up today.

I have a few fuzzy pics from dinner (it was a bit too dark for the camera phone...)  But I'll get those posted.

Since I was there mostly for parts, I spent friday-saterday in the swap meet (man that was hot!). I walked by the tent sunday morning around 11h00, hoping to meet someone, but it was deserted. Oh Well...

a bad turn of events back home forced me to bug out early on Sunday.

well, i pulled out at noon after getting the car out of the dealer display
and changing the tires. truthfully Sunday was the day weather wise.
the clouds kept it nice.

it seems like the show is starting to be a Thursday through Saturday thing.

We were there from 9:30 till 11:00. The tent looks sad without the banners. A majority
of show field cars were gone. And alot of swap vendors always load up on Sat nite and go home.
Even some of the midway vendors weren't there. Glad I don't have to pay extra to go in on Sunday.
Otherwise I'd be pissed off.
If I cant fix it, it's broke

I know most people use Sunday as a travel day but considering the cost to do the weekend I would stay for the extra day .

:iagree: Sadly, I missed this year due to family issues/work ect. I was disappointed last year by the Sunday turnout and I planned for the extra day to travel on Monday. It was somewhat of a letdown, but Carlisle always is a Mopar lover's dream!!  :ylsuper:

Kind of ticked me off.....so many vendors whining about not selling much, then mainy of them packed up early and left!   My wife and I made one last round thru the aisles Sunday and made it in record time.....LOL

Cant sell stuff if you are not there to sell it.....
