Has anyone successfully removed their window sticker yet THIS year? I can get the paper part of it off, but the adhesive is another story. I've tried Windex, Invisible Glass, Alcohol, and Acetone. The only success I've had is spreading it around.

I'm thinking the easiest thing might be buying a new windshield now.

Maybe the hot temperature is working against me.

How about that "goop b gone" stuff. I have had luck with that on other stubborn adhesive.

There's stuff that the scrapbookers use to remove stickers. It's called Un-do. It should remove the glue very easily.

I've never had this much trouble before, so they either changed the adhesive or the extreme heat is causing my grief.

I always leave it on for a few weeks as a souvenir anyways!

Mine is still on from last year but in the past, warm day and some goo be gone with a razor blade scraper worked really good.

lacquer thinner. if it can remove paint it will remove glue. just be careful.

I took last years off about 6 weeks ago. No chemicals worked for me either. Just used a new razor
blade and it peeled it right off.

I'll dive into it tomorrow guys. The only thing that scares me here is the lacquer thinner suggestion. My windshield doesn't have trim around it, so it might be easy to get that on the paint of the A-pillar(I hope I have that terminology correct).

Mike, I have had to get some real old stickers off some of the ceramic lamps I was telling you about. Of all the things I tried, charcoal lighter fluid worked great. Took the crap right off.
