New from South Dakota
« on: July 08, 2012 - 07:01:37 PM »
My name is Dave, been a Mopar fan all of my life.  I just recently picked up my first E-body and am super excited to get it road worthy.  I am 26 years old and own 2  power wagons and a 72 dart swinger.  My recent find is a '73 Dodge Challenger.  It is an original 318 car with air.  The guy who had it before didn't really take care of it so I am in the process of rebuilding to front end and do some body work.  I might be asking a lot of questions and am in need of some parts but I'll put those in the correct area's.  For now here are some pics of the car:

Welcome!  Looks like it will be a really nice car when it's done.
Did the passenger side front take a hit or is that just the photograph?

I'm sure you'll find lots of helpful and knowledgable people here :)

Yeah the guy who owned it used to work at a gas station and it got backed into.  He told me it was a hit and run.  I'll be taking care of that shortly.  I'm going to get some stripes and black on it to break up some of that yellow

WElcome SD  That yellow is about the same as what was on the 73 satalitte sebring I had years agoe,  People used to refer to it as the yellow banana car.  Also, the 74 cuda I have now, after doing some research, I was able to trace it back to being sold new from a dealership in Dickinson S.D.
