First modern "Cuda" that I actually like
« on: July 09, 2012 - 02:16:23 PM »
There have been many "makeovers" from modern Challenger to Cuda but they always looked so wrong to me.  Here is the first Cuda conversion that I like.  They have the body lines right with the straight crease-line down the side and the arched quarterpanel top line.  I would add the hemi hockey stick stripe and go with split-style dual exhaust rather than the center exhaust they have.  But the body lines are spot on.  Note the 70-style power window controls and door handles inside & out...

VERY nice!  :clapping: :2thumbs:    The only thing I would have changed would be the mirrors on the doors....they look a little to big to me?
Outstanding job/workmanship on that one for sure! :grinyes:

Interesting - rear seat delete, and some pretty hefty body work in the rear there.  As others stated at the link above I'm not fond of the huge, single exhaust exit.

But the workmanship looks pretty nice.  Would be nicer if it had a 6-speed though!

This would seriously make me consider buying a new one. Like everyone else not huge fan of the rear or the front lower spoiler but this is still a beautiful car

Wow!  That is a really cool Cuda!  It doesn't llok like a new Challenger and it actually looks like an older Cuda!  Nice!

Does anybody know what BC car show this was at?  Is it a BC car?

I absolutely love it!  What a great job.
A few changes to the front and rear fascias and throw a vinyl roof on it and it would get people scratching their heads!
It would be interesting to see it parked next to an original, the comparison would be fascinating.

Good catch, I hadn't noticed the back window.  The B pillar is gone entirely, and seems like the wheelbase has been shortened also which would open up the possibility of using Cuda doors, roof, and at least top of quarters all modified to work on the much taller LC platform?

What about this one? Similar to the one above! Apparently the company that made this concept is the same company that made the original challenger concept that's in production now :)
