If you are thinking of Magnaflow stainless system read??
« Reply #15 on: July 15, 2012 - 10:41:53 AM »
Just wondering, the TTi tips are straight aren't they? The PG Classic ones has the bend in them. Would this make any difference? Any pictures?

My old 2 inch tips were curved. Originals probably. New 2 1/2 inch TTI tips have straight outlet on them. Not really sure but this system might be bit easier as to instal with the curved 2 1/2 inch tips??
That being said once on the system looks and sounds great. Quality stainless system for the price!! Just my opinion. Would purchase this system again for sure!!
I tried to post a pic or 2 but can't as it says my attachment is to large??  I'm kind of a computer idiot in posting pic's and that.

That's odd as the TTI stainless Cuda tip's I just put on had the straight outlets to attach to tailpipe? No curve in them at all?

That's the easy part.   :naughty:

Just copy and paste the "IMG code" of the picture. It's the second line from the bottom of your picture, I think.

So copy and paste the code to your post here and the picture will appear.

Just finished having my Magnaflow stainless system installed. Took about 3 1/2hrs by an experienced muffler guy, who is the muscle car exhaust guy in these parts, and was done at the shop with all the right equipment available. I was there the entire time and lots of modification had to be done but it turned out great and my new TTI tips eventally were positioned perfectly. With the small block 340 system #15851 here are the issues you can expect to run into so be prepared:
The system itself out of the box fit great from the TTI headers back with the X pipe to the mufflers....

I had a similar experience with mine when I bought it back in 2009.

One guy at a local shop hacked it in ...it was on the car but all crooked and offset to one side.....

So  I had it redone by a second shop after I ordered new collector-to-xpipe pipes.... who took 3-4 hours on it.....he said it was anything BUT "bolt in".

Had to tweak the pipes going from the collectors to the x pipe...same with the rear pipes.  ANd I have a plain Barracuda, so it exits under the valance....

I love my system...the sound and the look....but glad I took it to a pro. Well worth the $.

YEP I totally agree with that statement!!  System is anything but bolt on and better left to a pro with lot's of patience. Once on though looks and sounds great.

Lots of ground clearance with the magnaflow system on my car. No issues at all in that respect!

The tips I used are just the TTI slip on style. The were just clamped onto the tailpipes from the magnaflow system once the pipes were lined up correctly with the valance holes. Now that process took a lot of patience let me tell you!! :pullinghair:
