Dear CC.C - your 2012 Beer is here!
« on: July 10, 2012 - 08:44:12 PM »
So last year I brewed a beer for those who attended the Carlisle car show.  The beer label looked like this:

The beer was good, though it needed refinement.  It was an extract beer, and I've since then "graduated" to all-grain brewing.

So this year at Carlisle I unveiled a new beer.  This beer was a light, crisp "Cream Ale" which was brewed with flaked corn and honey.  It actually tasted quite good!

Cuda-Challenger.com, this is your 2012 beer - Mo' Porin' Ale!!!

If you'd like to see the label in high-res, click here - http://www.jeffreystephen.com/Beer/MoPorinAle2.jpg

Viper Man-
Going along with Big Shclunk's request, did you make extras for sale?
I'm not sure on the legalities of selling beer, especially across state lines.  That being said, I would be interested in purchasing an single beer bottle or a six-pack with holder; assuming price isn’t too expensive.  Obviously, I would prefer full beer bottles, but, empty bottles would work, too.

Just like the Mopar posters, model cars, etc, I think your Cuda Beer would look great in my (and everyone else's) Mopar collection.
Maybe you can give it some thought.
Thank you
Ron

There's no law against selling bottles!   If there happens to be a little "free" product inside who cares....  :icon16:

I have about 12 BOTTLES (which may or may not contain a liquid of some sort) available.  I sold them at the show for $3 a piece (getting the labels printed and such is pricey for a small run like this).  A buck or two for shipping would be nice, as I'll have to package them pretty good.  (Plus I gotta do it at home, 'cause no post office/UPS in PA will ship an alcohol "bottle")

I can't really ship a six pack as that'd exhaust half my remaining supply.  This beer was popular enough (one member at the show asked about buying a case from me!) that I might consider making more batches, though selling/shipping it is ridiculously illegal...  :)

Anyways, if you want one or two, you can paypal me a few bucks (for the BOTTLE...  cough cough) to jsknapp1 at yahoo dot com.  Be sure to include your address, and please understand that it might take a week or two to ship them 'cause I'm working two jobs at the moment.

By the way, did anyone see the license plate of the 'Cuda on the label?  ;)

Nice job, Jeff.  Looks professional!

I don't drink beer, never aquired the taste for it but I can appreciate you doing this.

I can't see the license plate I would guess that it's the plate on your old Cuda?  The car itself looks like the car Burpin' Chunks used to have...

I concur. (I always wanted to use that word).   :grinyes:

In all honesty Jeff, that would do VERY well in any beer competition if you wanted to enter. Great taste and aroma. It also kicked my butt Saturday night after dinner.   :drunk:

Cool labels.  I didn't notice the CC.C license plate, had to go back and look closer after you mentioned it!

I'm not really a beer drinker, but I really liked your brew.  Maybe it's because it was 110 degrees, maybe it's because it was tasty.

P.S. Thanks again to you and your wife for all your hospitality and effort putting the shindig together!
