Man that car looks sooo much like my old '73 it isn't even funny. I bought it in '75 with 17,000 miles and it was a sublime green  with white interior and white striping. At the time, I hated the green and in 1982 I had a custom paint job & used a General Motors  :22yikes: color which was a Corvette Blue. I don't know what shade of blue you have on it, but in the picture it looks spot-on like the color I painted my old Barracuda. Very nice looking car!! That's for sharing the pictures!!

How long have you had the car?  What was done to it at the shop...just a repaint or a lot of metal replacement?  I like how you left the bumper guards on the car.  Most 73-74 owners remove them.  It's nice to see one going back somewhat stock.

So I'm curious, just what color blue did you use on your car?  :dunno:

I bought the car new in 1974. The color in B5 blue, the only true B5 blue. Had the car redone inside and out. It has a 318 in it but did not touch it. It gets 22 mpg. Only 1197 made in 74 with 318. Bought cragers the second week  I had it from JCP. Has A/C and cruise on it. Have the build sheet with it also. I will post up later.I plan on driving the car to shows. I like it better than my 2009 Challenger RT inferno red. My Dad worked at the dealership as a mechanic and saw the car being unloaded and called me. The car new sticker was $3200 and change. I will get more pictures up on the interior, all new and bought the new dash from year one over 18 years ago.It has white interior. One mirror on driver side.ralley dash and gauges.Auto in the floor.

In it hay day the 318 work kick ass of the camero's with 350 in them. Very quick off the line.Hope you enjoy the pictures and going tonight to take some good pictures of her inside and out.

I live in Amarillo Texas if anyone ever comes these way please let me know. Love to see the Cudas and challengers.

Sure is nice to see someone restoring their car to stock appearance, I am also original owner of my yellow 74 Challenger Rallye 360(currently with 440) but have kept original drive train all these years, glad I did. Again nice car!

I had a funny feeling that this was a one owner car.  Very cool.  What wheels did the car originally have?

Very cool!  Dig the slotted rims!

I know a lot of people have a beef with the bumperettes but if you are going to drive the car a lot those bumperettes could save you a lot of headaches with bumps and such depending on where you live.  In the Boston area they would work great...  :2cents:
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

The wheels that came with the car were black steel with a 9" hub cap. Still have them but do not like the look at all.

Looks great!   :2thumbs:  I come to Amarillo from time to time to check on my projects and visit family. Maybe next time I will try to get in touch before I head up.

We made a last minute trip up there last weekend to watch our 440 being dynoed in Canyon.  I was in hopes that I would see you driving around town in it. But no such luck.  Maybe next time.
