R4, don't take observations so personally. I think you just need to be prepared for anything when members or potential buyers comment on your sale. I see no problem that you started bidding at X price and show a Buy it now price. It can be a problem for you when you mention your reserve price in your description. What that tells a buyer is "don't spend more than $52K." Keep the reserve to yourself and let the bidding go wherever it goes. You can either accept the last bid or not. You may get a buyer who will not care about the negatives, nothing is perfect, but if someone does care, explain why without being defensive. I have seen too many sales lost because of sellers being defensive.
There will be a buyer for your car, just have to be patient.
