What issues did you have with the Keisler?  What issues did you have with the Tremec?  Thanks-

the Tremec shifts poorly at high RPM & Can break the syncros
Keisler promised to ship parts that showed up incomplete 5 months late . one unit that had machined too deep & there was a hole in the case that leaked oil , their solution was to ship it back to them at our cost clear across the continent & internationally as wel & they would replace the case & ship it back at our cost

Have you done this or sen it done?
Called Keisler and they say the is very little massaging and their car works great, trying to figure out if they are overhyping their product or if someone just had bad luck.
I put a Keisler kit in my 71 vert back in 2003 with NO problems, plently of tunnel clearence. The only complaint I have is with the high rpm 3rd gear shift problem. There is a fix for it, but just haven't done it yet. I think I paid about 2900.00 for my kit with the Keisler bellhouseing back then.

I have talked to a few owner who have done the 3rd gear fix ....... it didn't
I have also seen issues with the drive shaft yolk hitting the shifter in the rear gears [2&4 ]

Really! I hadn't heard that about the suposed 3rd gear fix not working. Don't know whether to spend the money to try it now or not. It does really kinda suck not being able to hammer 3rd gear when you need to. Sometimes it will go and sometimes it won't! I wonder, is there a diffrence in Keislers shifters, early- later? Because my yoke is no where close to my shifter. Back when I put mine in, Keisler was about the only 5 speed kit out there. That I knew of anyway
