The car in my avatar is mine. Its a 73 that is supposed to be triple black, went with Lemon Twist for now so I can have some fun with it. Engine specs are: The block is a 73, It has a 69 340 forged crank and rods, KB pistons, 9.5:1 compression, mopar purple shaft cam, .484 lift, 284 duration, heads have the 2.02 intake/1.60 exhaust valves. It also has the good vintage LD340 intake. It will certainly lay you back in the seat....
I have owned the car for 16 years and it has been like this for about 4-5 years. I drive it on the weekends, never in the rain and have won several car shows with it including a couple of best of class trophies. It isn't perfect and it is a car that I drive a lot. It has embarrassed its share of mustangs, camaros, chevelles, and corvettes of various years as it is putting 435HP on the ground at the rear tires. Dyno results dont lie...
Anyway, love this site and hope to make a lot of new Mopar friends! Now hopefully I can find a definitive answer to how many true Cudas had the buckets with column shift automatic trans.....
