Can I disable the huge footer pictures?

Hi all,
Is there a way to disable the signature pictures? There are some great pic's there but seriously, there is like 5 inches of pictures after every single post. It's to the point that you can get three posts on a page and the same pictures are repeated time after time.

Is there an option to disable these?

I think if you go to PROFILE, then under Modify Profile select Look & Layout there is a check box for " Don't show users' signatures." then click Change Profile in the lower RH corner you will get the result you seek.

Hi Bullet and thanks for the response. I have no option to change my profile. I can only access the summary. In fact I see no mechanism to modify my profile at all. Am I missing something? IS the button disabled because I am a noob?

OK, I'm halfway there. I can log into my account settings. Odly enough I do not have the option when using Google Chrome but it works with Internet explorer.

So I can update my profile but do not see any option to disable the signatures. I'll keep looking. this site is kinda a mess with big huge animated icons and extra tacky stuff. Love the content and knowledge of this site but the graphics are horrid.

I normally use FireFox as it has some good ad blocking features, to see what your referring to I used Chrome & see no difference in the way the PROFILE editing is presented. You have to hover the mouse pointer over some things to get a drop down menu (kind of quirky but not unheard of) I see a lot of complaints from people using mobile devices but for the average PC user with good internet speed we don't see that many complaints.

I just wasn't rolling over the proper icons. Its not that intuitive but things are fixed now. I'm pretty computer literate so I feel kind of dumb.
Are you a mod here or just a helpful guy?

P.S.  It's like a totally different site without the signatures. Awesome.

I think there was a change recently that prevents members from changing their profiles until they have a certain small number of posts, so it could be that you didn't have that option when you first looked.

That makes sense as I can see the options in all browsers now.
