Well, after 8 months, I cranked up the 543 and the monster roared to life again!! YAY! :woo:I had a few teeth damaged on my torque converter ring gear. It was causing starters to break (4 total)
. I dropped the tranny,
removed the torque converter and sent it back to TCI for a new ring gear and freshen up. With all this heat I would only work on it for a few hours in the morning, but today at dusk, I fired that bad boy up and sent Mopar thunder thru the neighborhood (header cutouts were open)!
It sure feels good to hear it run again. I'll wash/wax it and hit the road next weekend for some sweet cruising!
