hurst shifter question

I picked up a new or (a great job of a rebuild) of a shifter. It looks like ,and was tolded it was a e- body. Now that i got it home i noticed that the shifter rod holes are 1/2" instead of 3/8ths. Now can i get the rods with 1/2" on one end and 3/8th's on the other? Did the factory have both sizes at different years??

If the shifter is similar to mine, you just need the bushings for the shifter. My Super shifter has 1/2" holes as well. They are a separately available item.

Thanks, i did not think that the bushings would take up that much room. I also has a super shifter. I am deciding which one to use. I would guess that you make your own shifter rods? Any pictures??

http://www.brewersperformance.com has a lot of 833 parts, probably has what you need, but they might not be the cheapest source and their online ordering is lacking.
