Is their a seal that goes between the trim ring and the hood for a shaker? I see mension of it in one of my service manuals but see no gasket that came with my shaker kit.

Yes there is one.The holes do not like up well.I did not use it.

Don't bother. Waste of money. I tried it and it wasn't even close.

Yup, that's probably the best thing. Or you can try to get that sealer rope stuff that's used on the heater boxes from Detriot Muscle Technologies. That's what I'd like to get and re seal mine.
