    Which Windsheild Washer Pump?

    Hey guys,

    `73 Cuda (BS) w/ a 440 4spd

    No windsheild washer stuff is installed at the moment and I'm piecing it all together. I only have the reservoir.

    Could anyone help me figure out which pump I need and tube kits?

    I was shopping around on YearOne and stumbled across a few. I can't get on to their site at the moment for some reason from work but am looking for suggestions on the best and easiest one for my car.

    the pump & hose is available from Rock Auto or Napa or similar ,
     the hard part is the Tee that clips to the inside of the hood but that can be ordered seperatly . unless you want original ribbed hose & date coded pump

    Back on this... I can't find a manual foot pump for this anywhere except for one on eBay for $110 so far... Anyone know of a place that sells these?

    nobody makes a replacement. I may have an extra foot pump. check this link

    Since we are on the topic, I think I may have had the manual washer pump but now I want to convert to electric.

    Anyone do this? I'm sure it's not that hard to pull off.

    You just have to buy the correct reservour, pump and longer hoses.  Then you need a plug to block off the foot pump hole next to the master cylinder.

    I've done this and burdar is correct. Hopefully you already have a correct wiper switch for an electric washer, the knob pushes in to turn on the pump. Two speed wiper switches didn't, at least mine didn't

    I was thinking since I already have the 2 speed wiper switch that I would use the extra switch hole for a electric wiper switch.

    What do you guys think?

    So if you had a 2 speed wiper motor, you got the manual foot pump?  Was there even an option for electric washers or was it tied to what wiper motor you wanted?

    I thought you still had the provision for an electric pump in the 2 spd switch , you can tell by pushing on it , if not Slotts can get you the correct switch

    Yeah I'll check it out. I'm actually not sure if I had a manual or electric setup but by pushing on the button will tell.

    Otherwise I can hook up a switch to it and use a toggle.
