Trunk Matt curling up
« on: August 02, 2012 - 12:44:00 PM »
The trunk matt in my car is in good shape, but it's curling along the edges.  Is there a good way to fix that, or keep it from happening?  I tried some double stick tape, but that didn't last long.

Is it the original mat or a replacement?  There are two replacements.  A thin one that comes all folded up and a thick rubber one.  Which one do you have?

Try rolling it the opposite way and setting it in the sun for awhile.

I have to believe that it's a replacement. It's about 1/16 to 3/32" thick.  I'll try leaving it out in the sun.

Ended up using rare earth high strength magnets in the offending locations. Hardly noticible.
