mechanical versus electric
« on: August 03, 2012 - 10:58:33 AM »
I have a 440 RB that produces about 500 HP.  Should I consider an electric fuel pump instead of a mechanical.  I had an electric fuel pump on it last time it ran but now I am thinking about the simplicity of a mechanical this time around.  Any thoughts?
keep honking I'm reloading

500 HP should be easy to feed with a HV mech pump .

The carter pump is a great pump and will handle 500 horses.Mancinis carries them.

I forget the name, but there is a company selling a mechanical pump good to 2000 HP, if you really want to  cut loose.
