I've been trying to find the hand saw shown in the photo cutting the beam.  That's the last time I've seen it and now it's MIA..... and since I'm the only one on site I can't blame anyone else for losing it!   :banghead:

Kinda feels like I'm building a fort in my backyard!

Cody, After hand sawing that beam, are you sure you didn't wear it away?   :dunno: :poopoke:

Your right arm must be twice as large as your left after that.

Looking good there ! Man you are making a man cave to end all man caves.

When you find the saw you will find all the lost pairs of socks you have been looking for as well.

You ever have a dream and wake up only realize that it was just a dream.... and think to yourself how great the dream was?  I'm going to be really pissed if I wake up and my fort is just a dream!  :faint:

As much as I love working on my new fort, it is extremely hard constructing a building of this size with my own hands (as you can see from the last photo).  From sun up to sun down each and every day (and sometime even in the dark with a head lamp) and through rain or shine I'm trying my best to get a little done.  And for those days when I need a little help, I can't thank my friends enough for lending a hand and donating a few hours when I need an extra hand.  Tomorrow I should finish the 3rd level floor and start putting the roofing on.  Hope to have the roof done in about 2 to 3 weeks.  The goal is to have my final framing inspection done before the end of the year!  Here's a some updated photos:

BTW, I have a whole new appreciation for the phase "Working your fingers to the bone".  :22yikes:

holy crap,  there`s a lot of wood in there....  and yea, that is a huge building to do on your own, but that thumb will be long forgotten when it`s all done and you`re drinking a nice cold beer inside surrounded by shiny mopars....  :bigshades:   hats off man,  it looks great  :clapping:
