Since this is more a showroom than a work shop, I opted for no compressor nor drain.  I'm keeping the work shop separate from this toy box.  We don't get really cold nor really hot so I'm just going with the standard commercial heating.  The slab will keep things cool in the summer.

I would have the compressor outside in a shed so you do not have the noise .
 we did floor heat , it was rediculously easy to run the tubing in the slab & heat with a water heater tank & small pump , it was always warm as the heat was near the floor . [too late]
 they have high output small diameter flourescent light tubes that give off a lot of light available .
 floor drain is nice too so you can wash indoors [too late again ]

Don't forget the other cool signs too, direct connection, mopar performance etc..... Try and got one of the nose cones off one of the Nascar Challengers to hang up on the wall! That would be very cool!

Speaking of painting the floor, what kind of floor coating you laying down on the cemet? Or are you leaving it as is?

I guess LED lighting is all the rage for lowering your electricity bill, don't forget a shop sink which really helps out with cleaning stuff up quick without having to go outside to a hose. Thats about the only thing I like about the garage I have now.

I'm thinking of going with a stain, but might epoxy it.  Not planning on a sink as the work shop has full facilities and I don't want more bathroom / sinks to clean.

Was planning on T5's for lights and lots of neon signs.  I want to be able to have a clean feel to the shop.

Any thought on the checker-pattern tiles that you can get?  They quick-connect into each other so they're easy to replace if one gets damaged, etc.

Also, I was thinking maybe like a cot....  or like a futon...  so people can come visit.... ....for like, a long time....

I wish my garage was a bit bigger. I`d do some artwork on the floor for sure... that round sign on the floor will look absolutely stunning     I love painting big stuff    here`s what I did with my door:

If you are planning on putting any of those Mopar signs on the floor, look into cement etching/staining.   With the style and colors of those signs, it could look really nice.     It just depends on what your overall plan is for decoration.
