Your "shop" is excess at its finest! More of everything! More space, more storage, more height (might have to put a red aircraft obstacle clearance light on the peak of the roof), more lights, more patio, more grilling, MORE POWER! Tim "the Tool Man" Taylor (Tim Allen in Home Improvement) would be SOOOOO proud of you and what you all have accomplished - ohh-ohh-OHH!

Freakin' awesome accomplishment!  :2thumbs:

BTW ... is that a "Binford T-1000" nail gun that you are using??

What is the square footage of this garage? I just want to confirm it's larger than my house.

Either way man that is just incredible, I am excited to see the finished product!

I'm very thankful for all the nice comments, they mean a lot to me.  :worshippy

Building a shop is just like restoring a car.  Anyone can do it that puts their mind to it.  Break it down to small steps and take those small step and break them down to what you can do in a day.  Look at the goals one day at a time and before you know it you're accomplishing it.

This shop is about 5,000 sf.  My wife and I thought about what we wanted in it for a long time and even though we really wanted a pool and hot tub, in the end we designed the structure and outdoor living area to be very low maintenance to assure us maximum enjoyment with very little upkeep.

Of coarse all the tools used to build it were Binford.   :roflsmiley:   ohh-ohh-OHH

Alan, just because I haven't answered you on your proposal doesn't mean I'm saying no.  I just need some time to think about.  Really, you do have some cool cars and I've always wanted a purple V code.  :smilielol:

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

Just curious what are all the cars you have? I have seen a few threads with cars you were out buying and they are pretty awesome.  Then with all the spare parts you have on the upper level made me wonder. Shop looks amazing btw even my wife wouldn't mind that In our back yard. So far I out up a few 20x30 carports for car storage but need to build a big shop to replace my back garage. Anything else you have added or done differently?

Good question...I've wondered that too...How about a list of the current cars you own and maybe some pictures of the past cars you're restored - - - sold etc... :dunno:

Carpool :eek4: A string of E bodies on I90 would look cool. Dodj could drop down and join us and so could the Alberta boys. We could pick up a bunch of others along the way too. Cody's or bust :burnout:
I'm liking this! Road trip out west with what looks like a great place for a bbq, beers 'n' shootin the $hit. And if your car needs some work to get it home, likely no shortage of talent.
