Hey sorry bro I don't think that would work. I need the cash to get the car I really want. I have the pics of the fender tag plus pics of it primed gettin ready for paint. Dawerks says he's interested but we will see. The car will be running and painted before I post it on e bay. I'm open to trades depending on the car. I'm looking for a 70 cuda roller or a 69 charger roller. Once it's ready I will know more about the actual interest. I have only posted on here to sell it.

Hey bud,

Probably a long shot but any interest in 50% down, 50% payments within a year?

Yeah I figured, I don't blame you there, but I had to try. I'm currently working on a deal to get a purple 70 aar cuda, 340-6pack. I've been talking to the older gent for a while now to see what kind of deal we can get worked out. I'm getting close to what he wants now, but not sure if he was kidding or serious. I'm thinking he thought I was joking when I told him I would be back with some trades and cash. Good luck with the sale.

Yup I'm interested depending on how it looks 'finished' or I might buy a Lancer Evolution.  I will be in LA next week.

D34 on the fender tag translates to torque flight automatic. This is not a 4 speed car if that matters to anyone. Should say D21 for a 4 speed.

Hes right the fender tag doesnt support this, that really weird because I got that from somewhere when I researched the car after I bought it. If anyone looks at the car they can tell it used to have a 4 speed trans, the area where the hump would be was cut out and patched up and when I looked up the vin a while ago I remember getting confirmation of that. Im not sure what this means, maybe this isnt the right fender tag. I will do more research on this.

There's no way to tell form the Vin what transmission came with the car. The only way to tell is the original fender tag, the original build sheet, or the number matching stamped original 4 speed transmission. Check the vin in the lower right hand corner of the fender tag to confirm it matches the car.

I would also cut off those subframe connectors.  u need to spend HOURS cutting and grinding on those before welding them up.

Otherwise, it looks like crap and would turn off most buyers bc if u cant do that right, what else on the body was not done right?  My $0.02.

I undertand where your coming from but I gotta save something for the next owner to do! I have pics of all welding and body work, they can gO off of that. Seriously with price I'm askin I'm  just going to get the car running and painted. It's not like I'm asking for 18k.  What I am asking is more than a fair price. The car is rust free with tons of extra stuff done to it. It will be a nice car for someone. I realize you guys are pros that take your mopars serious but for what I see other cars go for this one is being put for a price thats fair for both parties. If I'm wrong I guess I will find out when it's done and i list it on e bay craigslyst and anywhere else i can. If I'm right I won't have the the car long and I will be posting my new car whenever it is I get it.

Well be glad you posted the fender tag it's better to find out now then to have someone buy it. transport it 2000 miles and find out then. That would really stink...anyway good luck with your sale.

Thanks  I appreciate the support.  It's just weird because me and my buddy were both convinced it was a real 4spd car. You live and you learn I guess.

Don't sweat it too much laddie; you've been more than honest all along and if I wasn't buried so far into mine, we'd be talking turkey long before now. It's a decent car at a decent price. Relax.
