The fuzzy stuff
« on: August 12, 2012 - 06:41:58 PM »
....on the guide that my drivers window rubs against is gone.  The metal piece is there.  Needless to say my window has a vertical scratch line along the front part.  Squeals something awful when I roll it up and down.  Any suggestions on what material I should glue on there (then I can replace my window)?

on some of mine I used velcro sheets. The fuzzy side . It has a sticky  side  that orks good. Cheap too cost me about a buck or two.

Thanks!  I wondered what that part was called.  I thought it was some sort of guide.  Velcro is a great idea.  Wonder why I couldn't think of that?

I used Brad's fuzzy velcro idea a while back and it works like a dream .  Even in the hot Arizona summer, the glue stays put and I've had no issues.
Awesome sauce...
