Trim finishes
« on: August 12, 2012 - 06:54:53 PM »
So I spent a few hours today stripping the anodizing off of some aluminum
trim. Sanded it smooth of nicks and such, then buffed it out. It looks fantastic but
now I need to seal it so it stays looking good. I know that stainless you can just wax, but
what about aluminum. Should I clear coat it or have it anodized. I'm leaning towards the
clearcoat but will it stick to such a smooth finish? Any help here would be appreciated.
If I cant fix it, it's broke

Wow, That is a great price (was that for all four pieces?).  Do you have any contact info for them?

Thanks Mike.

I used to use a company call Paragon in Santa Ana, but they went out of business a few years back.
