Fast EFI installation

I have finally gotten started putting the Fast EFI onto my car. I still need to finish the fuel lines and modify the gas tank for the in tank fuel pump. Here are a few pics. The 3rd picture is showing the MSD mounting, the last picture is the computer mounted under the dash.

Love the FAST EZ EFI, I am working on coming up with the cash to buy one now. Keep good notes i'll probably be asking you some questions

Looks nice. Do you ever plan on running at the track? If so the fuel reg has to be mounted on the fender well ou of the way of the flexplate if it ever came through. Also how are you planning on mounting your fuel pump? I have been thinking of building a can type thing with the fuel pump in it to act as a baffle for the pump and weld a flange on the top of the tank for it and use the factory sending unit for the guage and return line. I'm just not sure how well the tank will not get rusted from the inside if I weld on it.

Thanks!, I probably won't be running it on the track but who knows? I am going to be using a Walbro 400 LPH pump that will be put into the tank. Check out this thread, http://www.cuda-challenger.com/cc/index.php?topic=83820.0 , I am in the process of modifying my tank just like killer-mopar did his.

That's awesome and cheap to. 240$ for the entire kit and pump. Wow thanks for the link. Post some pics when your done and any measurements you come up with for depth and all

I'll let you know how it goes. I ended up a couple of fittings short on my fuel line installation and got them ordered this morning. I still need to modify the gas tank for my fuel pump. I went with the in tank fuel pump. If I had gone with an external pump this probably wouldn't have been necessary. Hopefully it will all come together shortly and I'll be back on the road.

I have the same setup  Watch where you mounted the MSD   The main weakness of the MSD is MOISTURE and heat:   If it gets wet or moist, the MSD will die on you.  I have mine mounted on a fabbed plate, mounted just behind the battery toward the firewall, it sits face up, almost at the height of the battery

FP gauge is mounted just like yours.   Brain box is mounted inside, below dash, to the left of the steering column

Dont know if you have the same, but I am using the OEM gas tank, wit no sump or baffles.   If I get just low on fuel to just above 1/8 tank, I have noticed the pump will run dry, so run at least 1/4 tank at all times

We got the gas tank modified. The opening in the picture is 6-1/2 inches wide x 7 inches long x 1-5/8 inches deep. I will be adding about a 4 inch nipple to the fittings to get where I can get a wrench on the hose connections.

It lives!!!!! I got the running today. No leaks, idles like a dream and throttle response is unbelievably crisp. Now I need to do some modifications to my shaker set up. There is no way the hood is going to shut with the shaker on. I think I know what to modify to make it work.
