I can see Carolina coasting to a first seed [maybe even undefeated] and out their first playoff game at the hands of the Wildcard Seahawks in their house.
Not counting chickens yet, lots of football left and the Hawks need to take care of business. Could be a Hawks Packers Wildcard game on the frozen tundra of Lambeau.

Hawks look to be peaking at the right time...

Carolina has only faced 2 teams this year that are over .500
Jaguars        4-8
Texans         6-6
Saints          4-8 Twice
Buccaneers  6-6
Seahawks    7-5
Eagles          5-7
Colts            6-6
Packers        8-4
Titans          3-9
Redskins      5-7
Cowboys      4-8

Yet to play
Falcons        6-6 Twice
Giants          5-7
Buccaneers  6-6 2nd meeting

Seahawks haven't really been challenged very hard this season and they're not doing as good on stats.

Teams the Seahawks played that are over.500

Panthers      12-0 Clinched NFC South
Cardinals     11-2 Clinched Playoff and 1st in NFC West
Bengals       10-2 1st in AFC North
Packers       8-4 1st in NFC North
Vikings        8-5 2nd in NFC North
Steelers      7-5 2nd in AFC North

Not challenged?  I guess I see it a little different...
Stats are great but W's are all that matter in December and January.
Hope we get to see the Panthers vs Hawks one more time this season.

The "Hot" teams:
Arizona Cardinals
K.C. Chiefs

The "Not so hot" teams:
Green Bay Packers
New England Patriots
Seattle Seahawks (losing to the Rams)

With Carolina Panthers losing today the undefeated season streak continues for the Dolphins.
Another Champagne celebration for them again.

43 years now! Can you believe it?

Rams got the win. No worries. Seahawks are still in no matter what. 5 or 6 seed, who cares?
Next weeks game against Arizona only matters to Arizona... Arizona and Carolina still have something to play for.

Arizona is the NFC team to beat in the playoffs. Carolina... one and done. Seahawks could face Arizona 3 times this year.
I still like the Seahawks chances.

 :iagree:

11 penalties against the lowly Rams shows they aren't playoff contention material.

1 month to go and it's only 15 miles away from me.
It's really wide open what teams will be there. Especially the AFC.

$5,000 to $8,000 a seat is out of my budget.

Anyone here ever been to a Superbowl?

I went to XXXIII in '99 which was the second Broncos win.  It was cool to do once, but honestly I would rather watch it on TV.

I have not been. But /\/\ this sentiment is what I have heard from many. Great experience but only once.

Ideally, the Superbowl I would like to see matched up is Chiefs vs. Panthers

Because Cam Newton and Alex Smith have played spectacular this year.

If Alex won, he could give the Jed York the middle finger.
At least I would if I were him.
