Column auto or 3 spd on the tree E Body w/console
« on: September 06, 2012 - 12:54:09 PM »
Anyone own or have pictures of a column auto or 3 spd on the tree E Body w/console? Was it a possible combo. Looking for a console in particular with no shifter opening hole.

The only column shift for e-bodies was for the automatic. 3 speed manuals were on the floor. If you ordered a console with your automatic then the shifter was moved to the floor. You could not get a console and a column shifter together.

I just recently saw pictures of a "modified" console on a column shift car.  The owner had installed two cup holders in it.  I thought it was a pretty neat idea and didn't look too difficult.
