I like it!! It is sleak and has some really nice body lines angles for the hockey stick and good window-line plus a 2 door, rear looks retro to the 69 barracuda .. winner! grill and lights are neat and toned down but look kinda retro. needs functioning duel scoop ralleye hood and a shaker option.

Well, If this is the new barracuda.  I will be just fine keeping my Challenger.

This Barracuda could be a nice 6 cylinder commuter for me in my future.

I really like it!!!  :grinyes:

It looks more like an artists concept drawing, I saw cues of the A-body Barracuda in the taillights.

For those with a betrayal to the Barracuda name, I think if they don't use Barracuda, this would be a perfect car for the name Dodge Avenger:2cents:

The current Avenger at one point was a 2 door with a measely V6 engine, now a 4 door.  (Hope the don't turn the Viper into a 4 door.)  They need to make the name more fitting to the car's identity, IMO...

That dealership is about an hour from me. I'm not so sure how credible this report is though? I do like the bottom right concept!

I love the new style (2008-present) Challengers.  They inspired me to put my old 'Cuda back together.

This new Barracuda inspires nothing in me.  Maybe a commuter if they are cheap enough.

I do like the bottom right concept!

:iagree:  If only they would make it look like that!  Reminds me of a Cuda Slot Car, totally wicked!  But from years of seeing awesome artist renderings only to be totally disappointed with the actual car (think last generation Pontiac GTO) I'm not going to hold my breath....  A 'slightly' smaller/lighter SRT8 Challenger is probably my only option for a new Chrysler or possibly a SRT8 Jeep Cherokee, but I'm leaning heavily toward something fun to drive, fast, and under $70k which leaves the Jeep out....

I dig that concept rendering. I can totally see hints of the '70 'Cuda in it. I think that's a good evolution of the original without being one of the direct retro knockoffs, like the Mustang and Challenger.

Much more subtle cues.

That lower right picture must be a very old concept drawing since the car's grill and the photo title block both say Plymouth.

I still like the blue one it needs work on the front and the rear a bit but it has a sweet looking side profile angles. Looks stealthy and fast. Needs more engine compartment.
