Need rear end weight for airbag application
« on: September 12, 2012 - 04:06:50 PM »
I am doing a 6.1/TR6060 swap. Front end will be RMS AlterKtion/coilovers. Rear will be a 2 link, panhard bar, airbags, and torque arm. Rearend will be a narrowed 8 3/4. I am looking at the shockwave 7000 and 9000 lines with the difference being a question of weight. The 7000 is suggested for car with rear loads of 1500# or less. The 9000 is for 1500-2400# vehicles. Any idea what the rear loads are on the typical E body?

Thanks guys-I appreciate the real life numbers! Looks like I may need the bigger bags

If you guys don't mind, could you also post your weight if it is included in the numbers? Thanks

Thanks, It's acctually 54.7% on the front with Iron heads! But I will move the battery to the passenger side. Haven't cornerweight it with me in it. But I will!
