    Hey 'Cuda/Challenger nuts!

    I just found this forum while looking around the TapaTalk software.

    Don't kill me but my screen name refers to my 03 Mercury Marauder (Whats_Up_DOHC) but my first love was my '70 340, 4 speed (pistol grip, rallye dash, etc. etc. etc. etc) 'Cuda.

          Bought in 1979 and sold in 1981 - Don't talk to me about why I don't have it.

    I couldn't get the screen name "Cuda_Kid" which is what I've been called.

    I have been eating up the Classified listings and hope, one day, to have another Cuda.

    - My wife and I saw one at the Oklahoma State Fair back in '02 or '03.  We both liked the car very much.  My wife loves the big cars and the one we saw was all black.
    - I think that's the only color the Marauder came in, but I could be wrong.
    -- Can you post some pics?
    - We wound up getting her a new Chrysler Concorde, in black.

    Again, welcome, and hopefully you'll be getting a Cuda soon  :cheers:

    Hey!

    Thanks for the response.

    My Marauder is Silver Birch.  Pic is below.

    Marauders were made in Black, Silver Birch, Red (Dark Toreador Red) and Blue (the most rare - Dark Pearl Blue).

    Here are the production numbers - It's estimated that almost half of the Marauders are gone/scrapped/totaled/etc.:

    2003 – Total: 7838 (328 Dark Pearl Blue, 417 Silver Birch, 7093 Black)
     
    2004 – Total: 3214 (980 Dark Toreador Red, 997 Silver Birch, 1237 Black)

    Also, I'm in Southern NJ.
