new guy from long island
« on: September 13, 2012 - 05:32:29 PM »
glad to join forum lots of useful info. I have a 1973 challenger with a mild 440 4 speed and 391 gears. the car was my mothers in the mid 80's and 90's. she got it from the original owner and it was a 318 2bbl auto with 273 out back. future plans will be 5 speed conversion and put the car in color

Welcome!

That's a cool car to get from your mother!  Way better than a Toyota Corolla!!!

What color you going for?

I've seen far to many rusty cars up in the northeast.  Actually, not many old cars around the Boston area anymore, they're either restored or turned to dust...  :-[

I see the new avatar, you like transformers, yes?  I love the effects in the movies.

Should had a Challenger in there for Bumble Bee...   :2cents:
