New to the dodge world:)
« on: September 14, 2012 - 08:31:45 PM »
Hello everyone, glad to be here with my first dodge. I inherited my aunt and uncles all matching numbers 1972 Cuda. They bought this car new on December 23 1971 in Victoria , BC Canada. I have all the original papers and broadcast sheet. It has a 340 with a 727 trans. This is my first dodge I will be restoring and am super excited to get started on it!!
Thanks and have a great day:)

Welcome!    Post of some pictures when you get a chance!

psst.... it's a Plymouth... not a Dodge. That's almost a hanging offence around here! ( Just kidding!  )

[img]Well original color on my Plymouth... ( sorry about that all) lol:) was Tor red (EV2) with black strips down the sides and black on the hood, no vinyl. They originally wanted a black cuda so somewhere down the road they panted her black. The body is going to take some work but it's far from gone. I want to paint it back to it's original color, pull the original engine and box it up. Hate to see something happen to the original engine!! Going to start looking for a nice crate engine for it. Does Anyone knows where the best place to get Dodge/Plymouth crates??
I've been trying to upload some pics from my iPhone and no luck so far, I'll have to try my computer I guess.

Tor red, Black side stripe, and blacked out hood with stripes, this sound likes a V21 car  :droolingbounce:

Here's a link if you'd like to learn more about the V21 option.
