I was under the impression that they never put the sunroof on the fender tag as it wasn't installed in house but shipped out for the sunroof install.

I have heard that.
Not real familiar with the e body sunroof's.

Seems the a bodies had alot of em and I have seen them there.

This is true.  Some cars had a stamp added next to the order number to mark them to be sent out for a sunroof.

Do you have a picture of the extra mark on the fender tag?

Its the letter "G" in front of the order number.

I cant believe I have had no interest in my car. So I will be starting on it very soon. In saying that I have offered this car to the world, so now I sure don't want to hear any whining from the purists went I change a bunch of things on it. LOL

I wouldn't say you people did not have any interest, maybe people were not willing to pay $10,000 for a sun roof option.  I would love to have the car, but I do not want to pay that much extra for a sun roof.  It's your car, restore or do as you wish.

Not just the cash price because for that price it came with a lot of new parts, I could lower the price if I kept all the parts. But I was talking about that I would have even traded for 71 318 bare bones Challenger as long as it wasnt a rust bucket. But no one was willing to a trade for that either. Not really sure of that. I know the price might be a little high for some but thats what I paid for it when I bought it. Then I bought a bunch of parts for it that would have gone with the car for that price. But what ever. Im just working on a other 71 Challenger for my wife and when that one is done I will start on the loaded one. I have it listed locally and will be removing that ad too very soon.

I know it's a 1970, but should give you a close idea what yours is worth when restored.  Your is a 383 (better than the 318) but I think more people like the 70 model year grille.  Either way should be pretty close in value comparing restored car to restored car.  Both are B5 too.
