Hey guys, I have had my 512 stroker at several car shows this summer and overall it runs great but it runs very rich and gets a whopping 6 MPG driving normally down the highway with 3:23 gears.  I have the Max wedge Indy EZ heads and a 10:5-1 compression block.  I have a 950 Quick Fuel mechanical secondary carb but no idea what jets it has in it.  I thought I would start with changing the jets but need to know what size you would recommend trying?  My current setup is a little soft on the bottom end but is a monster after 3,000 rpms.  I'm thnking if I get it leaned out a bit it will wake it up a little more.  I know It probably needs setup on an 02 meter to dial it in but I want to find a good starting point.

I would pull the plugs & look for color first  , you can try dropping 4 sizes , good start if it id the right direction you will feel it .
It could have more to do with the bleedsfor the jet circuit , you may need to drill them or install larger bleeds , the inner bleed are jet outer are the idle
