If all the body work is done, and it only needs paint. Then I say "yes".

The interior stuff is a pain, but it won't cost you an arm and a leg. Well, to clarify, seat covers, maybe $800, the dashpad, maybe $700, do the gauges work? Does it need carpet too?

Carpet is good and gauges all work just needs a dash and seats every thing else in the interior is in great shape

sounds like a good deal ... paint can cost a lot though depending what you want , as for what the car would be worth ... in todays market !! not a lot , are you buying to flip it or enjoy it , it would caost more than 6500 to get a good driving car together with a solid body

If it's solid it's a good deal.  No doubt.

As long as the unibody structure is solid and the body isn't in bad shape, then I'd say that $6,500 is a solid price. :2thumbs:

So the $ value of the car is less important , while it is nice to know you can get your $ back it is more about the value to you .
 Enjoy the car  :2thumbs:
