What is the plate supposed to fit?  E-bodies that didn't get a radio, didn't get the hole punched to begin with.  They didn't use a plug.

:iagree:  I'm curious and would like to see a picture too?   The # you quoted might be just a tooling # in the mold?

Silly question but could it be for the firewall hole for the cable?

I have seen many antenna delete plugs on ebay.
You can probably find one on there now.

I googled the part # and it led me to Tony's Parts.  He lists that number for E and B bodies.  It doesn't make sence since the hole was never punched on a car without a radio.

I can't say I have ever seen a radio delete car in relation with the lack of a hole in the fender.
Anyone have a picture?

I thought only the aar and ta had the antenna delete fenders.

Even though it is listed for an e body I always assumed it was for several different cars.

My Challenger is an antenna delete car. But it had an antenna on it when I bought it. The antenna delete code is on my build sheet.

They probably just assumed a radio came standard and forgot to mark one down.

not in this case , it has No options at all .... R/T pkg , SE pkg , Purple paint , Bee stripe in bronze , 4spd is all . It has a single non adjustable mirror , std steering & brakes , no floor console etc , I think it was built as the cheapest high impact display model to put in the showroom , probably one of the most stripped SE cars ever built , most SE are loaded with options !

Im right there with you buddy. My R/T SE was originally had a 3-spd and 3.23 open, along with the std mirror, std steering & brakes, and no console. However, I did have an AM radio and had the antenna hole because of that. Since I found it pointless to have a three speaker sound system I ditched the radio. Instead of plugging the antenna hole, I removed the antenna mast and threaded in a polished 1/4-20 button head bolt. Looks good and I can add a radio if I ever feel like it.

Here is a picture of used antenna delete plug that's listed on ebay.  I was beginning to think these things were mythical unicorns!  I've hunted several postings on mutiple sites that discussed their existence, but never any pictures, and most patrons claiming they had never seen a delete plug.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mopar-Antenna-Delete-fender-plug-60s-70s-/200828374036?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2ec24dcc14&vxp=mtr

I'm really interested in finding one of these in new condition or not as chewed up as the ebay listing.  I made the mistake of forgetting to address the fender hole on my car while at body and paint shop.  I don't want antenna, but I've got to do something about hole.   :banghead:
