PCV Noise

Has anyone experienced a PCV valve noise at low RPM/Idle. I have changed mine out for a second time and the noise continues. Sounds like a belt "chirping" and goes away when I disconnect the PCV valve and plug the vacuum line. Its a 440 six pack setup.

you maust have just the right amount of vacuum to cause it to flutter so how to fix it ? restrict the hose with a nut inside maybe ?

I think there are PCV valves with springs, and without. Whatever you have, maybe try the other type and see what happens.

PCV valves are made with different orfice size depending needs for engine. You may want to use a top quality valve, some aftermarket valves will cause this fluttering sound. This will also have a effect on how the car idles at times. Chilly
