Thanks to everyones help on this car i told the owner i would call him later in the week with a offer so all the input i can get on the car is a big help im a newbie so i dont know a whole lot about this type of car

Also I see the car has hood springs, if those are the regular ones and not the lightweight ones they should be removed. Otherwise the hood will warp, not sure how to tell the difference..

ARRs and T/As had fast ratio steering box and pitman arm so check for that.

I'm pretty sure they had a extra leaf on the leaf springs vs the normal cars.

I have talked to the owner of the car and his asking price is 75k

Dealers are crazy, should have told him for that price you could get 2 AARs

Ok I am new here, I am not a Barracuda expert, let alone an AAR expert
BUT: I dont think any manufacturer painted water hoses, or clamps. Never seen a factory car with smoothed frame rails that are painted the exterior color either (but that could be the splash apron on the passenger side) can really see it all.
In my experience, a dealer claiming its one thing, usually means its a clone, or perhaps WAS all original, then was bastardized during a nice, but incorrect restoration

oh yeah, and that green paint is very recent Base Clear Urethane.. I would bet the black is also base clear urethane with a flat clear.. It sure looks like PPG "Flexed and Flat" DCU2060. I use it all the time on my warbird reproductions and wanna-be's..
Id say that car was done with in the last 8 years

The water hose and clamp are suppose to be painted like that. This is how they were when the cars rolled out of the factory. So this is correct.

As for the rails being painted body color, I am pretty sure this is correct as well.

This is what u look for
The air cleaner cover  is correct flanged down. 
Good catch on the rallye dash. Not 70 or 71 dash.
Looks like a special order it would have rallye dash, it has 3 speed wiper motor and passenger mirror. Passenger mirror should be larger than driver side mirror. Power steering. If power steering it will have numbers with TA embossed on housing.
Hard to see the hood springs.  AAR hood springs are long and narrow. Steel are short and fat.
I wouldn't purchase it without the vin fender tags - 2 tags. 
Check the vin dash last numbers to the numbers on the cowl and front support at radiator.
Also, should be vin on driver door near latch.
Remove oil filler cap from valve cover and look at rocker arms, should be adjustable rocker arms. Not tapper rocker arms.
Look for U-J-O on heads near spark plugs.
Should read TA340 EMBOSSED ON DRIVER SIDE OF BLOCK
Rare paint F3 or J4

AAARuFAST.....thanks for the pictures that will be a big help i think what we are going to do is call in someone that knows more then a newbie. I dont know who yet but i was thinking maybe a classic car appraisal company? Anyone have any suggestions on who to call that would know abut this type of stuff? Im in colorado springs this car is not going anywhere so no rush on this so im gooing to start my homework on aar tonight and again thanks to all the people that have helped me on this car if i was not part of cc.com i would have know nothing about the dash or anything else

I would have them put it on a lift just to inspect the undercarriage and pull a rear wheel inspect shoes and wheel cyl and check the
engine block for TA340-7.  power steering if available, TA  on housing.

It has correct trunk lid.  It would be a pain in the butt to fill in the front fender antenna hole and mount an antenna in the rear.
There is special base on the bottom of the original AAR antenna.
See if Front fenders are curled up on lip.
Looks like engine was rebuilt. Would have engine orange overspray on exhaust manifolds.  heat shield missing on driver side exhaust manifold.
Looks like original stlye Brake Cylinder w/brake booster.
See if they will look under back seat or backs of bucket seats or top side of glove box for build sheet.
Why is the rallye dash incorrect and the vin fender tags missing, if it has been kept original?

I asked them if they would put it on a lift and they said anytime im ready they will do that i have just talked over the pphone to the owner and i have told him three times now there is no fender tag and today i meet him for the first time and lifted the hood up and asked him so where is the fender tag located at he said i have it at home so no one will steel it and is going to bring it to me on saturday when we meet at his car dealership so far the guy has been outstanding to me and has had no problem doing anything with the car that we have asked him to do
