I just looked up a round trip flight from calgary to Philly  7-11-13 to 7-15-13   and it is 550 bucks if booked now.  1 person. This is an example of booking an early flight.  thats thursday to monday btw.  Neils wife would still need a ride to and from philly

Neils ticket from Panama city , panama is around 620  both of these are plus tax

Maybe a rental car for the week? like 375 bucks

I'm just checking stuff guys, but we need to get started some how if we make it happen.   We need a HMNIC  to get this goig

( Head Mopar Nut In Charge)

I think the very big issue is auto trans port. 2k would get them both their in a car with food money , so it seems.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Flying them both into Carlisle is do-able. I'll agree with that.

Shipping her car from Calgary and to knows where is where it gets sticky. I assume back to Calgary after the show? That's a BIG shipping fee.

Yeah, I bought mine last October and had it shipped from near Boston, Mass to outside of Atlanta, Ga. it was 1000.00 for a covered trailer. It took about 3 days from when it was picked up to get here.  Boston to Loganville is 1000 miles on eBay maps and Calgary to Philly is 2400 miles. Maybe a member knows someone personally to do it cheaper cause 2k each way would be a big hit.

Like I mentioned , depending on timing I would be willing to spend my time flying out there and driving it back to my place? Then caravan down to Carlisle? Have then fly into Toronto and drive down? Just a thought? :dunno: I have no idea what airfare is from Toronto to Calgary?

Do we have any further details on an account set up? No way I can physically help move stuff, but I can throw in $$ to the cause.

Ok let's say I deal with the funds . . . Is it true that you can only take so much out of a pay pal account?  I don't use mine much and have no bank account tied to it as they keep pushing me to do.  I do not like giving anyone access to my account.  I have no direct deposits or withdrawals and I prefer to deal with what little money I have myself.

I'm going to win the lotto soon. . . . I know it!  Well hopefully soon . . . . .

Right from pay pal site
"For security reasons, $500 is the most you can withdraw from your PayPal account each month. If you want to withdraw more than $500 per month, just verify your bank account, debit card, or credit card information."

We use paypal at my work for our ebay store and it is by far safer and better than even than credit cards for both us and the customer. If it does concern you make a new small bank account to use just for pay pal.

1st of all this an amazing group of people. That I am proud to call my friends. Neil is one of the most insipiring people I know. He has lifted my spirits in one of the lowest points in my life.  I know he has been talking with Ed B thru e-mails. If we need some kinda help thru Carlilse . I'm sure I can talk to Ed B , even if it's a little something. Maybe I can get Neil and Denise tickets to the celebrity lunch on Sat.  :dunno: It's an idea ? Carlisle donates to my Car Show every year, they are very caring people.  :2thumbs:With Denise's car in Y building they won't have to pay to be there all weekend. I don't have a big place and Barry is staying here. But I told Neil , I could squeeze 2 more in, if he and Denise could make it.  :2thumbs:  Thanks, Dave for setting this.

I'm in to help with a donation. Just tell me where and when. This is horrible news, but it can have a good outcome! Please let me know how I can help out. My prayers are with Neil and his wife.

Im certainly in for whatever I can do.  Just let me know who I can mail a check or whatever is needed to.  Its the least that I can do for everything that Nal has helped us with the charger and challenger over the years!
