Sorry to buzzkill but depending on where you drive, HID conversions are likely illegal.  The problem is that you need reflectors/projectors designed for the arc position/shape/etc for an HID to provide proper light pattern, both for your use and so as to not blind oncoming drivers with excessive glare.  Around here it is easy to tell oncoming cars with the HID conversions because it looks like they have high beams on, but when you flick yours at them and they flick back, it obvious that their lows are just glaring badly.

the H4 bulbs I can get are just taht , a bulb , you need a reflector housing.
yeah you are right they probably are illegal but there are no laws in Panama

I just moved here about 2 years ago , do not miss winter at all . Is you family still here ?

 I just bought some H4 HIDs today , they have less than 1/2" behind the 3 leg mounting plate , I can get lots more if you need them

yeah I hate winters also. I have family down there but no one I really talk to. my grandmother actually still owns a house down there but she lives in the states. One day I'll get back down to visit

I agree duodec,  Dan has the best headlight kits around. Top quality.  and more info on all the other bulbs in your car.  Check it out to get your blinkers, backup lights, taillights up to modern standards without melting your lens.

Great reference, everyone needs to bookmark it and make those upgrades if you drive your car at night.

Unless you utilize a proper HID retrofit to include projectors then what that guy says is true. If you use projectors is basically is a giant well aimed spot light.

Here are the one's I used for my HID H4 Conversion, they fit ok for me with out cutting fenders. However I have only H4's in there now, I have the HID bulbs with high beams but haven't had a chance to put them in yet.

Has anyone looked into retrofitting the new challenger headlights to an old car yet?  I am not sure the size of the lights but you could get factory HIDS.
