let me ask everyone that wants one NOW. do you have a core ready to send to me to save the 195.00 core charge.

core CANNOT be rotted, must be solid, material doesnt mater as all of the comes off.

Mine is still installed.  I would not likely be in a position to send the core out until much later in the winter.

It would be great if I knew I could get my core back restored.  You know, trying to keep the car as original as possible and all.

So if we get up to 20 pads what are we looking at in price?

My question as well.  I'm guesing it will cost at least another $150 for the shipping of the core and the return of the new pad.
I would like a new dash, but I'm guessing we're looking at about $1k when it's all done?

I had my AAR dash refurbished by JustDashs. 2006.
I was concerned about them send a different core refurbished.
Reason I wanted my original core to be correct fit.
Justdashes guaranteed it would be my core.
I got my original core back and it was a perfect fit. I scribed a mark on the core.
I'm just being concerned.
I went to a local insurance repair shop and got a new bumper carton from them.
I don't think they ship new bumpers in cartons anymore. Had to modify carton.
Shipping was $58. UPS. MD to CA.  Shipping has gone up.
It took 6 weeks from Just Dashes they do batches depending on models........  :2cents:

Not to step on Dave's toes, but I see Carolina superdash has them on ebay for $715 exhange. Only added expense is freight back on your core. These do have the metal core and I have seen positive reviews on this sight. I could buy tomorrow or next spring, does not matter to me. My core is ready also. I don't mind spending a little extra to do business with sponsors so I will be interested in pricing as well. Anyone chime in on the Carolina product..please!?

I know, I know, I have backed out twice now in getting a dash.

My core is now out and awaiting to do this.

There is alot to deal with Logistically with 20 different people wanting pads.

Would love to see the price drop even a little for a group buy.

Don't quote me on this, but as I recall, it was 1200 for pad, 150 for shipping core, 150 shipping restored pad back....????

I will say that these pads are in beautiful reflection of the originals.
I've personally seen one, seen many on the site.  Very nice looking pad.
I wouldn't get a pad anywhere else.

Okay, we all love and appreciate Dave, although we of course still need to consider all of the options.  I just went over to Just Dashes website and they have a great video showing how they trim down your existing pad, glug on some filler material and then the final cover, cut off the excess material and paint the appropriate color.  I have not talked with them as yet about pricing, but I plan to on Monday.  Let me know what you think of their process-------- I like the idea of getting my own pad back.

Looks like the count is up to 10 right now.

I assume that we would each ship our cores to the vendor; they would wait until they had the complete lot to start?  :dunno:

my toes are long enough and can handle being stepped one, no worries here. Carolina is in sorts a partner with UR and will NOT do a group buy, i couldn't even get them to run 6 at one time, same material as UR and process, they are all vacuum formed, they primarily do fords i beleive.

once i get cought up from being off last week i will post the variable questions of cost and approx shipping,
then will probably do another post / Poll with the variety of pads so i can see truly what you guys want.

Only issue that i know of with JD besdies pricing is more than UR is the scheduled runs of pads, it could be 2 weeks or 3 months + ? they run one style of pad at a time.

Bought one for each of my cars 4 years ago. Sounds like prices have gone way up! Still haven't used the challenger one, but glad I got it when I did. Somewhere I have a thread with install pictures showing the final product from UR. Takes a little massaging, but I think it is every bit as good as the factory fit.

Thats sounds pretty reasonable.  Might be a silly question, but:

Is the Challenger emblem included, for that price, we get a dash we can pull out of the shipping box and bolt on, with nothing else to buy or do?
