Dash Pad Group Buy?
« on: October 03, 2012 - 11:01:54 AM »
Anyone else want to commit to getting a new dash pad at this time so we can have some added buying power?

A dash pad is on my to do list.  Who would we order from, and would all the colors be available?

I could probably arrange this in the December-January time frame.

I would be interested - of course quality and price would be a factor - quality #1.

only 2 manufactures of steel core pads out there, Ultimate Rides and Just dashes,
UR has a better grain price is less than the JD part. We deal with UR and have for about 6 years, THese are nice pads and i can get them in or do them in any color or variation, We did try a group buy a while back and no one committed to build a quantity, plus the logistics of shipping the core and the pads, i am out of town until next week and i can look to see what i can do,
unless the count is up around 20 pads it wont work,

Do yourselves a favour and get them through Dave. He looks them over before he ships them.He knows were the problem area's are. Use his experiance/expertise and get it from him! I got mine from him  a couple of years ago was was thrilled with the fit and finish. As close as your going to get to the original or NOS !
Just my 2 cents.

We tried this last year, but it never happened.  I need one, and would be in again if we can get it done this time.

let me ask everyone that wants one NOW. do you have a core ready to send to me to save the 195.00 core charge.

core CANNOT be rotted, must be solid, material doesnt mater as all of the comes off.

Are the cores universial with speaker cut outs? My car is a single speaker dash and I would want a 3speaker cut out because its a convert. :smokin: :dogpile:

So if we get up to 20 pads what are we looking at in price?
