The 70-71's are more common so they have a stronger fan base.  :2cents: :stirpot:

I'm also surprised at the low turnout for 23. As I told the entrant, I really like how he used the clutter to actually frame the car.

It's a really nice exposure, no glares, but the clutter is well...clutter. Nice ride though!

23 is a nice car but the background was a bit depressing to me - with the old fashioned curved lamp post and grey fence topped with barbed wire, it made me think of the stalag in the Great Escape.

I wish my pic didn't have the shadow against the car (#21), I planned all year to take the car and spend time getting a nice shot, waited for fall to come then got stuck being out of town for work the last 2 months.   :banghead: This is just a pic I took last year and didn't use.

23 is a good picture , shot well the dead on side shots bother me though you lose the lines like 16  , better as a 3/4 shot , some are great shots but have the light behind leaving them in shadow

Agreed. Many shots that display good composition but have deep shadows and bright highlights. I'll put something about that in the Photo advice for next year.

Just my .02 cents, I didn't like 23 because I felt the shot was taken too low.  I love ebodies as much as the next guy, but I (just personally here) think that these cars look a little better when you get to take in those one-of-a-kind hoods.

Does that make any sense?

Makes sense to me. I just noticed that quite a few cars do not show their hoods, or at least not clearly, but I like seeing interesting and different angles too. The typical front quarter shot gets overdone IMO. Theres a reason that its the one you see the most though.

Yes, #23 is my car. I put a different spin on things with my pic because honestly, I've seen the same 1/4 angle shot with the wheels turned a million times and I thought it would be cool to try something different. Well, I guess only me and 3 other people felt it was worthy of a vote! heh heh
