20+ new 1:18 scale announcements at iHobby Show

Oct 11th 2012 the iHobby Toy Show opened, a toy business trade show. I thought some may be interested in the new 1:18 die cast that were announced at this event. Also one HO slot car set... Still no 72-74 Challenger...

With the state of the 1:18 hobby like the economy (not the best) no manufacture wants to spend the $ to make the new parts/molds needed. They feel it's too big of a risk to do. Yes '72-74's are asked for, but not enough of them. Just like the real cars, so many 70-71's around, not as many '72-'s to support it. 7I feel your pain, but it is what it is... sorry.

Guys, please believe me when I say it's simply economics. With the tooling costs for new parts so high, in this business you can no longer sell enough of them to make a profit. Please be happy there are 5 new Mopars being offered...?
