1970 barracuda
« on: October 12, 2012 - 11:31:50 AM »
Hey just wondering what this car is worth. I'm in Canada and cars seem to be more up here. I found this car and want to know what you guys think it's worth.

1970 barracuda grand coupe , 4 spd 383 car. It now has a 1968 440 in it. Can get the Original motor. Has new floor and trunk, stainless exhaust, new white interior in boxes. Minus front seat covers as the seats are wrong there from a charger. Car will need quaters Patched or replaced  other than that he says the body's solid. Wants 10g. Has fender tag but says you cant read the number. I think he wants too much just double checking. I'll post  Pictures soon

If the fender tag is too rusted, 10K is too much.

I havn't seen a rusted fender tag car yet that is worth 10K.

Hemi's,440's,vert's aside.

the fender tag was not on the car, he didnt know he had it until he started looking around in the boxes. He bought the car two years ago and it hasent moved.

I'd offer 5 for it being as it is a 4 speed B block car car and mayhap go up a little but not much more......... The rust you don't see would be the biggest factor

What was the VIN on the car? If it's an original U code car then he might be close but then again there is alot of issues.

Max 5k on this one and that might be high cause I haven't seen all the metal work you will need to do.

An 1970 big block four speed Barracuda that isn't rusted to the ground is worth more than $5000. I think $10,000 is at the high end but not out of line. If it was close to me I would definitely be interested.
