Random Acts Of Kindness
« on: October 12, 2012 - 12:33:50 PM »
When I was at Chryslers at Carlisle on Sat back in July. I got there early , because it was cooler.  :eek4:   I was hurting and not getting around very good. No one else was there yet. I met a really nice gentleman , whose Plum Crazy 71 Challenger was parked beside mine. He was a Vietnam vet. He said he lost a 71 Chally in a divorce and finally got another one. He offered to go get me something to drink or eat. He was a very nice guy. His name was Barry. My replacement " Barry " for the day.  :smilielol:   So we are checking each others cars out. And he says " Do you like to go fast ? "   I said " Yeah " Then he says " Do you like to stop ? "  He said that because I have manual , drum brakes. So he is telling me he took an almost brand new set off his and upgraded. He said he would send everything to me to put disc brakes on the Chally. I totally forgot about it. I got an e-mail today. The disc brakes will be here tomorrow. Random acts of kindness

Wow!  Free parts.  That's almost unheard of.

Glad there are folks like that still out there!

Make sure you post some pics when you get em!

Congrads on the new parts. You will love the new brake for sure. I think even factory discs are way better then those drums.   :2thumbs:
