71 Cuda grills from Metro: Updates?
« on: October 12, 2012 - 03:28:44 PM »
So far, the only comments from the folks that have gotten them so far is that they look nice

1.  How is the fit?
2.  Actual quality of materials used?
3.  Finish:  Is it as original?  (grill front and back?)
4.  How are the quality and fit of the trim components?

Odd.  No one that has received theirs in the last month or so has installed it yet.  Would like some insightful info on fit/finish

The shells need to be painted first really, so it isn't to hard to see why there haven't been to many reviews yet.

The trim shortage issue means that only about 25 have been in the wild for any length of time right now.  Now that things are 100% again, and we shipped out more kits than that  yesterday alone,  I think you will start getting a few first hand accounts soon...

With a new product like this, I would HOPE people would be test fitting them to the car BEFORE painting them.

I would think so too, but no one I have talked to personally are doing it that way.
They are sending them straight out for paint after a quick once over.

Either way there should be some firsthand talk soon.
